Say hello to this angel, Nyla!

Nyla is a bit of a bully mix, which we cant be a 100% certain on what she exactly is.

She was sadly gifted into Battersea due to her previous owners were no longer able to look after her. Though Nyla does come with a good history which has been reflected here on-site also.

Since coming into Battersea she found it difficult to settle in, and has often been up at the kennel bars being vocal, but mostly for attention. For this reason Nyla is looking for new owners that are around a lot of the time to help her settle in, and build up her time alone gradually.

She has been lovely with everyone she has met so far on her journey through Battersea and has quickly become a staff favourite! She has an excitable nature to her and has a tendency to jump up to receive all the love, though we are trying to encourage all 4 paws on the ground or and off cue to help with this. When on walks she believes everyone is her friend and wants to say hello.

Nyla also has a good history around other dogs. She has also been a good girl on-site too but does like to play in typical bully fashion at times which can be a little too much for certain dogs. At this moment in time she will have to be the only dog in the home.

Overall Nyla is a real sweetheart with a typical excitable bully character, who just needs a little more guidance and training to help her be the best version of herself we all know she can be! She will be looking for owners who are familiar with the breed type and who can physically handle her as sometimes she has a tendency to pull. She has shown she can be a very sociable girl whether that be with dogs or humans, but she will need time dedicated to her training and settling into her new life and routines.
