Work Placements

At present we offer work experience placements in our Kennel and Cattery areas across our 3 sites to students studying an animal related course at Merrist Wood College, Nescot College, Hadlow and Berkshire College of Agriculture.

This is to allow us to tailor the placement to the course requirements. 

If you are a student at one of these colleges, to apply for a work placement with us please contact the work placement coordinator at your college who will liaise with us directly.

We also offer limited work placements in Clinic at our Battersea, London site to 3^rd and 4^th year veterinary students. In order to apply for a clinic work placement with us please email jobs@battersea.org.uk.

For 1st and 2nd year students wishing to gain husbandry experience, we can also offer limited work placements in our kennel and cattery. For more information please email jobs@battersea.org.uk

Please note that all work placement students must be aged 18 years or over.

The Home reserves the right to refuse a work placement to students and the right to limit the number and length of work placements offered in order to ensure quality work placements and to ensure that operations of the Home are in no way compromised.
