About Battersea Brands Hatch
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Brands Hatch provides purpose-built accommodation for our dogs and cats in the beautiful Kent countryside. We care for an average of 45 dogs and 25 cats at any one time.
The centre is situated just off the A20 between the villages of West Kingsdown and Ash in Kent. We often welcome visitors from all over Kent, Essex and south east London, and are open seven days a week for rehoming.
Brands Hatch provides a calmer environment for those dogs and cats struggling to cope with the busier environment in London, and the centre is clean, peaceful and tranquil.
Our dogs stay in large kennels, which have heated floors and sound absorption technology. We are surrounded by 12 acres of fields, including a woodland trail, to help with training and exercising the dogs.
The sense of calm continues in the state-of-the-art cattery with heated shelves for the cats and large external runs.
The on-site veterinary clinic, visitor reception and shop are light and airy, and behind the scenes the kitchens, laundry and bathing areas for the dogs are all designed to make the whole place run efficiently.
