PetsPyjamas host Collar & Coats VIP dog room

At this year’s Collar & Coats Ball on November 8 the doggy guests will receive the full red-carpet treatment, thanks to the team from pet lifestyle website, PetsPyjamas

02 November 2012

Each year the Collar & Coats Ball attracts hundreds of celebrities and guests who support Battersea, and some bring along their faithful four-legged friends. These doggy guests and Battersea residents will want to have their every need met, whether that’s ensuring they don’t have a hair out of place, or giving them a moment of backstage relaxation. To ensure all the canine guests enjoy the evening, PetsPyjamas will be on hand to pamper and groom them in their Very Important Pooches room, a specially created dog-friendly zone. Dogs will be able to visit the VIP room to prepare for the evening by enjoying a groom or massage, playing with PetsPyjamas' handpicked toys, or tucking into some tasty doggy canapés. The VIP room will boast specially trained dog handlers to ensure all canine guests have a glamorous and relaxing evening.

Now in its 4th year, the Collars & Coats Gala Ball will be held at Evolution in Battersea Park and hosted by Amanda Holden and Paul O’ Grady MBE, with star-studded entertainment and A-list red carpet. At the event dogs will be strutting their stuff on the “dogwalk”, modelling coats designed by a host of top designers, (find out more here).
PetsPyjamas Co-Founder and Creative Director Denise Elphick explains: “We want to ensure the dogs have a fantastic evening, and hope the VIP room will be able to cater to their every need – whether that’s nibbling on a tasty treat, grooming their coat, or just chilling out and playing with one of our fun toys. We have a team of in-house stylists at PetsPyjamas to ensure our customers find the right items for their pet, so we know how important it is that dogs look and feel their best.”
PetsPyjamas sells items from a wide range of pet designers, many of whom run small British businesses. Find out more at
