Cat Rescue Stories
We're always delighted when our dogs and cats find new homes, and we love to receive letters and emails describing cat rescue stories and telling us how they are getting on. Reading through these rescue stories, you will discover why people choose to own a pet and how is their life with their cats. You will find out great anecdotes about cats’ unique temperament as a human companion. If you have a Happy ending please email it to paws@battersea.org.uk. We'd like to share just a few of our rescue stories with you.

Wilf

I’m Wilf. Battersea called me Pluto but I didn’t like it. I’ve been resident in the country over a year now and it suits me hugely - once I’d got the resident ex-stray dog into shape, which didn’t take long.

Alice
- 26 Sep 2011
-
Marion Smith rehomed one of Battersea Old Windsor centre's more timid residents, Alice, last year. Alice, a youngster herself, was abandoned at the gates of the Home whilst pregnant with four kittens. After such a sad start in life, she was very fortunate to be rehomed by Marion and has become quite the little superstar! It’s a lovely update, and a true testament to how shy and under socialised cats can develop into wonderful pets when they are taken into a loving home.
