Ralph

Ralph

I took over the care of a Black Labrador many, many years ago, when I lived in Croydon. His name was Jimbo at the time, but his name now is Ralph.

It was estimated he was nine months old when I took him for rehoming in 1995. I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for such a marvellous dog, and for the many happy years he has given me; and hopefully him too. I alway remember how he squeaked as I went to walk away from his cage to leave, he really did choose me. We moved to rural Dorset five years ago and he has had a great retirement here in the country, and I love him to bits. This picture is of him on Hambledon Hill aged 16. It is three quarters of a mile uphill to the top!
