Rehome a Dog With Battersea
There are many reasons to choose and rehome a dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Here are just a few...
Not all rescue dogs have behaviour issues
Many of the animals arrive at the Home through no fault of their own, often as a result of the owner moving abroad, a baby on the horizon or a relationship breaking up.
All of our animals receive a detailed behaviour and temperament assessment
Our behaviourists are highly experienced and knowledgeable about specific breed traits, giving new owners complete peace of mind.
How much does it cost?
Our rehoming fee is £105 for dogs. The cost includes microchipping, initial vaccinations, a collar, identification tag and lead. In many cases your animal will have been neutered. You will also have the option of signing up to four weeks free pet insurance and a starter pack of food, advice and special offers.
We are here for you
Our aim is to match you and your existing pets with a perfect companion using our computer 'matching system' and the experience of our expert rehomers. We recognise that everyone's situation is different.
Every rehomed dog has a full veterinary check
This includes worming, flea treatment and vaccinations. All animals rehomed from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home may return to the clinic for free treatment for conditions relating to their stay at the Home for up to three months. In addition to this they will be microchipped with a free ID disc, collar and lead, neutered (or come with a neutering voucher), and insured for four weeks with Pet Plan.
We have many breed dogs as well as mongrels, in fact breed dogs now outnumber mongrels by ten to one. From Chihuahas to Great Danes, we have dogs of all shapes and sizes.
You can teach an old dog new tricks
In fact, we spend a lot of time training the dogs in our care.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home provides you with around 150 years of experience
