Rehome a Dog With Battersea
There are many reasons to choose and rehome a dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Here are just a few...
Not all rescue dogs have behaviour issues
Many of the animals arrive at the Home through no fault of their own, often as a result of the owner moving abroad, a baby on the horizon or a relationship breaking up.
All of our animals receive a detailed behaviour and temperament assessment
Our behaviourists are highly experienced and knowledgeable about specific breed traits, giving new owners complete peace of mind.
How much does it cost?
Our rehoming fee is £135 for dogs (over 6 months) or £165 for puppies (under 6 months).
The cost includes microchipping, initial vaccinations, a collar, identification tag and lead. In many cases your animal will have been neutered.
Each rehomed dog will be covered with four weeks’ free Petplan insurance so that right from the start, your dog will be covered for accidents and new illnesses as they settle in to their new surroundings.
When our rehomers extend this free cover to a full policy Petplan will donate 10% of the cost of the premium to Battersea, as well as 10% of the cost of the premium each year the policy is renewed.
This 10% donation isn’t only available to people rehoming an
animal from Battersea. Visit www.petplan.co.uk/bdch
for a quote and more information about all Petplan policies for your pet. You
can also call 0800 980 0500 quoting ‘BDCH’ and 10% of your premium will be
donated to Battersea.
