Inca Trail
- Type:
- Treks & Challenges
- Dates:
- 07 September 2012 – 16 October 2012
The Inca Trail is one of the top ten trekking trails in the world, with its breath-taking landscapes, stunning scenery and mysterious Inca sites. Should you choose to take up the challenge, your adventure begins in the Inca Capital of Cusco – a fascinating city, hidden deep in the Andes Mountains. Once you have acclimatised to the 10,000 foot altitude, follow the only trail to Machu Picchu – the world’s most important archaeological find and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This is one challenge that everyone wants to be a part of.
This is one walk even many of our dogs would balk at, but upon witnessing the sight of Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, the breath-taking views across the Andes, and experiencing the history and culture of the Incas, your efforts will be more than worthwhile.
This trek is organised by charity challenge specialist Global Adventure Challenges on behalf of Battersea. To request an information pack, please send us an email, or click here to sign up now!
