Inspire your pupils to become young entrepreneurs!  Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is delighted to announce the launch of the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Enterprise Challenge.  This teaching pack, developed for pupils studying Key Stages 3 and 4, has been designed by practising secondary school teachers to engage young people in the requirements of the Enterprise curriculum through the challenging and interesting business model of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home 3R's for 4R's is an education pack aimed at teachers of Foundation Stage through to Key Stages 1 & 2.  Developed by practising primary teachers the pack is fully mapped with the National Curriculum.

There are over 30 lesson ideas and worksheets, some with interactive whiteboard activities, which will help to deliver the following subjects:

PSHE/Citizenship
Literacy
History
Art and Design
Design and Technology
Numeracy

Additional contents
There is also a section on dog and cat themed whole school Activities – including ideas for a Design and Technology week, a Book week and an Art week. In addition ideas are given for a range of fun activities based around the dog and cat theme.

Included in the pack is a full colour poster - 'entitled 'The Journey' (which follows a dog and cat through their time here at the Home) several films about both the Home's work and how to be safe around dogs, downloadable certificates to reward your students with, as well as other posters and a photos resource to download.
