We are looking for a Customer Services Team Leader to lead and provide day to day management of the front-of-house customer service team in the provision of efficient, prompt and friendly customer service (via face-to-face, phone and in writing) as the first point of contact for visitors and enquirers.
To ensure that Customer Service staff and volunteers work in accordance with Battersea standards, policies and procedures, consistently implement best practice around data protection, animal welfare, and provide an excellent customer experience at all times.
To work with our operational management team in the provision of excellent customer service and a seamless customer journey in the rehoming of dogs and cats in our care and in the provision of support and advice for customer service staff and volunteers.
Battersea is here for every dog and cat and has been since 1860. We are a leading animal welfare charity and over the last 150 years we’ve grown from one home in London to three rescuing and rehoming centres across the South East. Our Operations Team
This role sits within the Operations Directorate, which is responsible for delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and care for every dog and cat in their journey through the Charity, from reception, to intake, to assessment and then to rehoming.
