Good News Roundup - Friday 7th August
07 AUGUST 2020
In these uncertain times, we’re sharing our weekly round-up of positive things happening at Battersea, as well as heartwarming dog and cat stories from the UK and beyond.
We know that animals can be a great source of comfort so we hope it adds a bit of cheer to your day.
Homeward hound
We’re delighted to announce that little Bella went off to her new home this week! Bella has been on foster with Harry from our Marketing team since the beginning of lockdown and even featured in the 24 Hours in Battersea - Lockdown special!
Bella is a sweet and loving dog with a worried side, but during her time with Harry she slowly came out of her shell. Being as photogenic as she is, of course she was the subject of many photoshoots before she joined her new family - these are just some of our favourites. We wish you all the best, Bella!
Paint me like one of your French girls
To celebrate Colouring Book Day, we created two colouring sheets featuring ex-Battersea animals Bailey and Felix.
Whether you’re looking for a way to relax and unwind, or something for your little ones to do this weekend, you can simply save the images to print out yourself, or use your favourite editing software to colour in. Enjoy!

Too hot to handle
With temperatures soaring above 30 degrees, it’s important to take extra care of your pets in the heat and that’s exactly what we do here at Battersea with animals in our care. Here we have some of our residents showing us how they make a splash and keep it cool.
You can also treat your pets to a homemade ice lolly – check out our easy recipes for cats and dogs.
