More about Daffodil
Meet Daffodil, this super-friendly girl is looking for a calm forever home that she can call her own. Daffodil likes to think of herself of a lap dog, but we have to remind her that this isn’t really possible with her lovely long legs, but she’s very content with any hands-on attention from her favourite people.
Whilst she is confident indoors, when she ventures outside she does become quite worried and doesn’t always want to walk very far, especially in new places. Daffodil would like owners who are happy to take things at her pace and won’t expect her to be accompanying them on long walks, at least until she has started to build her confidence.
Daffodil has been spending some time in one of our offices with members of staff – her typing skills leave a lot to be desired but she is great company and settles so well on her bed. Daffodil needs a home where there are no children as she is nervous with lots of noise or people moving quickly, however with a calm and quiet environment she really flourishes and shows her affectionate, gentle and cheerful personality.
True to her Lurcher breed, Daffodil likes the thrill of the chase so owners will need to keep her on lead when she is out walking, so she would love to have her own garden where she can stretch her legs. Daffodil is a real favourite here with staff, but everyone is hoping this special girl find a loving new home soon.
Daffodil is currently spending time in a foster home. Please call 01784 494 443 before visting if you are interested in meeting her.
