More about Augustina

Augustina is an excitable and confident Belgian Malinois cross who loves running around after toys here at Battersea Old Windsor.

Augustina is a lively dog and her new owners will need to understand the work and time it takes to train a Belgian Malinois. She will need active owners who can put in additional training and stimulation for her to keep her occupied.

Being so young, Augustina will need gradual exposure to the outside world and would benefit from having her own garden which can explore and her new owners can utilise this space for training. She would need short, regular walks at her current age and this will need to be built up as she grows.

Augustina could potentially live with another dog that could be a nice role model for her. Any resident dog must be comfortable with her energy levels and tolerate the liveliness that comes with a puppy.

She could also potentially live with a confident cat that has experience of living with a dog before.

Augustina loves her food and she is being fed from lots of different types of enrichment like kongs and puzzle feeders. This helps her slow down her eating but also provides enrichment for her brain.

Augustina will make a loving companion for owners that are looking for a high energy dog to train.
