More about BILL

Bill is a clever and exuberant adolescent Bull Breed looking for new owners with experience of Bull Breeds who can help him grow into a well rounded adult.

He is based at our old Windsor centre, if after reading him information you would like to know more about him, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Bill is a sociable young dog, he can get very excited and jump up when greeting so we are reinforcing for him to have 4 paws on the floor before he greets people.

Food and toys make Bill very happy, he will play with toys on his own or with his people, games are kept to a low level to avoid him getting over excited. He loves food, he is a little snatchy with treats so is learning some manners around this. Food toys are used to help Bill slow down his eating and use his brain.

Bill needs to be the only dog in the home due to him being under socialised and worried around other dogs currently. He has made good progress here at Battersea Old Windsor but can still be a little tense and focused when meeting new dogs. His play style is very Bull Breed in nature.

New owners will need to be happy to handle a large strong dog when on walks or interacting with other dogs.

He has shown some worry around clinical handling so he will need further and ongoing training in this area.

Bill knows a sit currently, he is happy to work for treats and is a clever dog. He will need plenty of ongoing training but Bill loves to use his brain and learn, this will also help to build a bond with him in his new home
