More about BUNTY
Bunty is an excitable Labradoodle cross who loves to play with toys. She is located at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in rehoming her please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.
Bunty is a sensitive dog and has a worried side around people, especially men and children. She will need to live in a quiet household with new owners that have experience of owning more nervous dogs. Her affectionate and sensitive nature means she bonds deeply with those she trusts.
Bunty is currently spending some time in a temporary foster home, she sleeps through the night, enjoys going on walks and stretching out on the sofa.
In her previous home, Bunty was house trained and enjoyed going in the car. She loved to play with tennis balls and squeaky toys which we have also seen here at Battersea Old Windsor. Her ultimate favourite toy here is a mix of the two; a squeaky ball.
Her coat will need regular grooming, she is still learning to enjoy this process so her new family will need a patient and gentle approach to help her feel more at ease.
Previously, Bunty has shown some resource guarding behaviour around treats and toys and this will need to be carefully managed in her new home. Due to this, she is looking to live in a home without any children and would also struggle with regular visiting children.
She is sociable with other dogs of similar size, preferring calmer dog friends and can struggle with larger or more boisterous dogs. She would do best as the only pet in her new home, but she will enjoy regular social walks with well-matched doggy friends.
If you are looking for a loving, playful dog and are up for some training, Bunty might be the dog for you. She will reward your patience and care with lots of love and loyalty.
