More about CHRISTIE (& MARPLE)

Christie and Marple are a fun and gentle natured pair of dogs. Although they make an unlikely pair, they are very bonded and enjoy each other’s company. Christie is a 1 year old Lurcher and Marple is a 7 year old Crossbreed. They are located at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in them, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Both dogs are very friendly and have had no issues making friends with everyone they have met so far and love a fuss. Christie does sometimes get excited when making friends and can jump up. She is currently learning to keep 4 paws on the ground when meeting new people to encourage calmer interactions.

As they are such a bonded pair, they would currently be looking to be the only dogs in their new home. Marple is more independent of the two and is happy to say hello to another dog before going off to do her own thing whereas Christie can be more playful once she has found her confidence after politely saying hello.

Christie and Marple an often be found playing tug games together when in kennel, keeping themselves entertained. Christie likes to play with a range of toys and Marple can be more particular but enjoys soft squeaky toys.

Both dogs are very foody and will take treats of any value. As they are so food motivated this can be used as a useful training tool to help with the basic training that they will both need.

Christie and Marple are looking to be rehomed together, they would make delightful companions and bring lots of happiness to a home. If you are interested in rehoming them, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.

If you have not registered yet, please do so on the Battersea website https://www.battersea.org.uk/rehoming. Thank you.
