More about CLIO

Can you resist that sweet Staffie smile of our adorable Clio?

Clio arrived with us through no fault of her own and has been an absolute delight while in our care and quickly won her foster carers over! She is an affectionate girl who loves to know she is a good girl and supports her foster mum with her work from home duties! She loves a game of tug and will carry her kong around the house once she has finished eating!

Despite her age, Clio is still a firm fan of her walks and enjoys her trips to the beach to watch the seagulls! Although will be equally happy having a snooze on the sofa with her humans. As she enjoys the company of people Clio would be looking for a home where her time alone could be minimal to start and be built upon gradually.

While Clio does love a fuss she does have a worried side around more formal handling, such as vet checks and having her harness fitted so she will need new owners who can build up her confidence and not overwhelm her.

Around other dogs she can have some intolerance but while out on foster her carers have been working with her and have seen some improvements. She will need new owners who are willing to carry on with her training and can read her body language to support her.

Clio was housetrained in her previous home; however, when left for particularly longer periods of time, she had the odd accident. Since being on foster Clio has been clean and will toilet in the garden and on walks.

This wonderful girl is based at our Brands Hatch centre. If you think you have the right home to offer her please contact the Brands Hatch rehoming team at bbh.rehomers@battersea.org.uk, or begin your rehoming application online.
