Meet our dashing daxie Coby!

Coby is a sensitive boy who came to us through no fault of his own. He has a very unique look and has shown a real affectionate side once he has built up a bond with you.

He can be worried around handling in both formal and informal settings, as well as being uncomfortable around new people and other dogs which he shows by being reactive and moving himself away.

Coby will need new owners who have experience with worried and reactive dogs and are confident in continuing his ongoing training and socialisation. His new owners should have a solid understanding of dog body language and will need to take a sympathetic approach introducing him to home life gradually and build his confidence around new people, dogs and handling.

Coby is looking for a home in a quieter location with it's own private garden. He would prefer to be the only pet in the household, but could live with sensible older teens who have previous experience around worried dogs and are able to give him the space and time that he needs. He could live with a single carer and once he has settled, could be left for short periods.
