More about Daphne
Meet the Delightful Daphne, our 1 year old Labradoodle!
Daphne was brought to Battersea due to being quite the busy girl in her previous home! Daphne was described as being very excitable and easily overstimulated, especially around people. Daphne is looking for new owners who are willing to put in time for training this bouncy, bundle of joy to help her become a well rounded adult dog who is sure to give back as much as she gets and become the perfect new member of the family.
She has a history of being quite the escape artist and did make a few great escapes in her previous home. New owners must have a fully secured garden and be prepared to be mindful of any potential escape routes for this smart girl!
At Battersea, we've seen a much more nervous side to Daphne who took some time to settle in and find her feet in kennels. She has shown some nice social skills with other dogs however, still a worried soul around them and has needed ongoing confidence building. Once warmed up to people she is a very affectionate and loving girl that just wants to be in the company of her people!
Daphne is looking for a home in a suburban area, where she can work on her confidence, preferably a multi carer home, with or without children aged 13+. Daphne can't live with a cat and would also prefer to be the only dog in the home. She'll need understanding owners who are prepared for both a nervous girl at first and also a more excitable dog later down the line!
