More about Diamond

Diamond is a sensitive Lurcher who is looking for a calm, supportive home. Once she gets to know people she loves zooming around the paddocks here at Battersea Old Windsor.

Diamond can be worried of new people and needs some help with gaining her confidence. New owners will need to understand that she may take time to build bonds and she should be allowed to approach people in her own time.

Due to her worried side, she is looking for a home with her own private and secure garden. She would also benefit from living in a quieter location away from lots of people and loud areas.

Diamond hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet however this may develop as she settles into her new home. She has shown some protective behaviours over food and we would advise new owners to give Diamond space when she is eating, to prevent her feeling uncomfortable.

She is quite independent around other dogs so new owners should allow her to greet dogs on her own terms. Due to this, she is looking to be the only dog in her new home.

Diamond is a charming dog who will suit owners who are happy to continue her ongoing training.
