More about DYLAN

Dylan is a fun and active Spaniel based at Battersea Old Windsor, looking for an adult-only home with new owners who have robust experience of dogs who can be worried and who are also willing to provide him with an outlet for his high energy and love of play.

Dylan loves water and tennis balls, he would regularly swim in his previous home and was happy to travel in the boot of the car.

Dylan has shown to struggle with meeting new people so he will need some on-going training in this area. He should also not be taken to areas where there are high numbers of unknown people, such as cafe's, shops, pubs etc.

Dylan really enjoys playing with all toys, with tennis balls being a particular favourite. He is content to play fetch and will drop the ball at your feet. Tennis balls can also be used for search games to keep his brain stimulated and for training purposes when meeting new people.

Although Dylan can greet dogs nicely, he has shown some worry and is generally quite an independent lad, preferring playing with his people and toys to other dogs, therefore at this time we would recommend that he is the only dog in the home.

He is a typical busy Spaniel who enjoys using his nose and is usually very busy finding new smells. He enjoys searching for his toys and other fun scents, he has recently been involved in scent training at Old Windsor, so this would be a good activity for new owners to continue with.
