More about Ella

Meet Ella,
Ella is a lively and wiggly puppy who was originally brought into our care as a stray. We do not know much about Ella's history but we have learnt a lot about her during her stay with us. As she is a stray, we are not certain about her breed mix but the team suspect she is a bull breed mix so she still has some growing to do! Ella was rehomed from Battersea but unfortunately and through no fault of her own has found her way back here.
Ella is an intelligent dog that already knows sit, down, paw, wait and drop. She would benefit from a home that is looking to continue this training to ensure that she grows up into a well mannered adult dog.
Her new family should ensure they build on her life experiences positively and constructively and would benefit from considering taking her to puppy training classes.

Ella has met dogs during her stay with us and has been playful, bouncy and a little unsure at times around other dogs. She may be able to live with another dog who is tolerant of her juvenile behaviour and who is a good role model for her!
Ella can be very excitable and needs consistency when it comes to encouraging her to keep her four paws on the floor. She can be quite mouthy, although she is easily redirected onto toys. She has also shown some improvement, mouthing less frequently during her second stay with us. For this reason she would be suited to a home with teenage age children or an adult only home.

Ella is a delightful young girl who will no doubt bring owners much joy with her playful and affectionate nature and will be a wonderful addition to any home lucky enough to have her.
