More about EVA

Meet Eva, a gentle soul with a heart full of sweetness.

This retired greyhound may have once raced, but now she's ready for a new chapter filled with love and comfort. She is enjoying the easy life in her foster home, and settling in well. Her foster carer has described her as calm and obedient. She is adjusting to life in a home well and picking up house rules. She loves to sit and lie next to her foster carers, putting her head on their feet, particularly enjoying a fuss behind her ear. She has shown keen interest in squeaky toys but the fluffy ones are her favourite!

Eva walks nicely on lead at heel right by her handler's side. With her being a retired greyhound she will need to kept on muzzle and lead in public spaces. She has shown other greyhound quirks like chattering her jaw!

Eva is affectionate, friendly, and a real joy to be around, quickly becoming one of the staff favourites. She can sometimes be startled by sudden movements so she would be best suited to a home with older children and away from the inner city.
