More about Marshall

Meet our beautiful Dogue De Bordeux boy, Marshall!

Marshall arrived at Battersea as a gift. His history describes him an anxious boy - particularly to loud noises and could be quite reactive when on walks. He lived with a cat and was friendly when socialised with dogs on walks.

On-site, we have seen a gentle giant who is full of affection and likes nothing more than having fusses with his people. All his love for people does mean he suffers from some separation anxiety and so will need new owners willing to put in some ongoing training in this area! We haven't seen any reactivity from Marshall when on walks, although can become quite excitable and enthusiastic when wanting to say hello to people and dogs!

Marshall likes other dogs and is a friendly and at times playful boy but we feel he would prefer to be the only dog in the home, so he can get all the attention and love for himself. Marshall is a big and strong lad and will need new owners who are confident in handling and socialising him!

Marshall is looking for a new home away from the inner city with access to his own private garden. He will need experienced owners who understand his breed traits and he is not suitable to live with children, although could potentially live with a very dog savvy cat.

This big lad has a heart of gold and a lot of love to give, he would make a wonderful addition to any household lucky enough to have him.
