More about MILA

Mila is an affectionate girl who enjoys fuss and attention. She is based at our Old Windsor centre, if after reading her information you would like to know more about her, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

She has a cheeky side and really enjoys playing with her toys, picking them up and running around with them in her mouth. Mila loves a lower back scratch and is good for having her harness put on. She travels well in the car and settles nicely in the boot. In her previous home, she loved to meet and greet visitors, and would find it very exciting.

Mila is going to be a project dog, so is looking for new owners who have experience with owning dogs before and ideally managing some lead reactivity. She is having ongoing training around this, so new owners will need to continue when out on walks. She is an active dog so will need owners that are prepared to give her the mental and physical stimulation she requires.

She will benefit from lots of green spaces to sniff around and explore, and will need her own private garden where she can relax.

Mila is best suited to being the only dog in the home due to having a history of being possessive over food around other dogs. She is very food orientated and will try to help herself to human food too - anything tempting will need to be kept well out of reach.

Mila has settled well in kennels and in her previous home could be left for a few hours with no issues. We would advise building up her time alone gradually to begin with to help her settle and adjust into a new home and environment.

Mila is a loyal dog and will make a loving companion for an experienced owner. If you are interested in rehoming her please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494443.
