More about Pat

Meet Pat, our 2-year-old Greyhound!

He is a sweet, affectionate lad and is looking for a home where he can relax and unwind with a family that can provide him with a comfortable sofa and plenty of treats and cuddles.

He has been really friendly with everyone he has met on site and has been good with his food, toys and his walking, but can be a little stressed by certain elements of handling, so we have been helping him build confidence around this and he has been improving daily.

Pat is an ex-racing greyhound and therefore has only just started to socialise with other breed types here at Battersea. He doesn’t seem to get a whole lot from the company of other dogs, but he is happy to interact and co-exist around them. We have found him to be more comfortable around dogs his own size - he can sometimes be a little too focused on the smaller dogs, although he does come away when asked.

Pat is looking for his loving forever home somewhere quiet and peaceful where he can enjoy some walks around the neighbourhood before cuddling up on his bed or the sofa.
