Meet our young girl Ruby!

Ruby came to Battersea as a stray so unfortunately, we have no history on her or how she is in a home environment. This high energy young lady has a zest for life, being an excitable and vocal girl with both people and dogs. While she enjoys interacting with other dogs, she is easily frustrated and can be over the top in her play style, forgetting to take breaks, so we feel she is best suited to being the only dog in her new home at this point.

Ruby is looking for a home with owners who have some experience with high energy dogs and will be able to work on her walking and socialisation skills. They will also need to be willing to work on her time alone training and have a lifestyle that can accommodate this.

This lady also has a very high chase drive so new owners will need to continue working on her recall around distractions as well as provide her with suitable outlets for her chasing behaviours. For this reason, Ruby will need a home with a secure garden for training & burn offs.

She is a vocal girl so a quieter location not too close to neighbours or at least quieter walking routes whilst Ruby settles in would suit her best.

She is a playful, young lady with a lot of love to give to the right people and enjoys a fuss once she has had the chance to burn off her energy. With the right training & guidance, she is sure to bring new owners endless amounts of joy and will be the most loyal of companions in her new home.
