Say hello to our wonderful gentle giant, Tyson!

Tyson is a stunning Dogue de Bordeaux, who was gifted into us due to a change in circumstance with his previous owners.

He has a nice history which has been reflected here on-site; he is very friendly although can be a little wary of new people sometimes, in particular men. However once he knows you he is a total silly, loveable goofball.

Tyson has also shown to respond well to training to help build his confidence, which can easily be carried on by his new owners.

Tyson's ideal home would be away from the inner city, as he can get a bit spooked from loud sounds, with his own private secure garden area. At this time he will need to be the only dog in the home with owners being confident in continuing his dog socialisation in neutral spaces such as parks. He could also potentially live with a dog confident cat as long as the home has the right set up for slow introductions to allow Tyson to build up his confidence to living with a cat.

Being a large guarding breed, his new owners will need to be able to handle him physically and also ideally have previous experience with similar breeds since he does display some behaviours that are expected and typical of his breed.
