More about KIPPER

Kipper is real character and is fun, gentle and quietly affectionate. He enjoys being with people and likes a fuss but is also happy to have his own space and does not try to be a lap dog, which is lucky due to his size! Kipper has moments of excitement and he sometimes forgets to be calm when interacting with people - he needs a little bit of training to help him with this.

He is quite independent around other dogs and is happy to meet and greet and walk with dogs that are not too over the top, but he does like to play.

Kipper was housetrained in his previous home and travelled well in the car. He adores food and tempting treats need to be kept out of reach! Kipper has shown to have a very high chase drive with small animals, and his new owners must be able to confidently manage this when on walks and in the garden. He will not be able to be let off lead when out on walks due to this and will need a secure private garden to exercise in.

He will need owners who can build up his leaving hours gradually. He has already learnt a nice sit and is always happy to take a treat and learn some more with his new family.

Kipper would do best with owners who have experience of dealing with Sighthounds. For any Lurcher enthusiasts, he will make a very loving, fun pet.
