Most anticipated event on the canine calendar coming to Battersea’s Old Windsor centre this summer

25 MAY 2017

Dog-lovers from across the country are invited to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in Old Windsor, to celebrate the animal charity’s annual Family Fun Day this summer.

Thousands of dog and cat lovers and their canine companions are expected to descend on the Berkshire shelter on Saturday 8 July, for a spectacular family-friendly event. You don’t have to own a Battersea dog or cat to come along, all animal-lovers are welcome.

Visitors are encouraged to enter their waggy-tailed friend in one of the hotly contested dog classes on the day, such as Golden Oldie, Most Fabulous Fella, or Best Battersea Dog. Each class costs £2 to enter and there’s no limit on how many categories your top dog can enter.

If you and your dog are a little shy of entering the show ring, there’ll be plenty of other entertainment to enjoy all day, including the chance to watch an incredible dog agility display, along with stalls, games and refreshments.

The Battersea Old Windsor Family Fun Day raises hundreds of pounds, which are vital to help Battersea with their work to rescue, rehome and reunite thousands of dogs and cats across the UK.
