We've joined forces with Bob Martin who have been generously donating all the cat litter our felines need since 2013 and wormers since 2016.
Bob Martin, the family run pet healthcare business, are building on their existing partnership with the Home. Since 2013 Bob Martin have donated 83,000 litres of Felight Cat Litter to Battersea every year to help ensure our feline residents are comfortable while we find them families. In 2016 they are also donating Clear 3 in 1 wormers to worm every dog at the Home during their stay. This donation will enable us to protect the 5,000 dogs that come through our gates each the year from a variety of different worms.
Bob Martin are also giving their customers the opportunity to round up the cost of their purchase on Bob Martin’s Vetcare website to the nearest pound and donating the difference to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. The money raised from customers will go toward supporting the Home’s Vet Hospital Appeal.
Battersea’s Head Vet, Shaun Opperman said: “We’re grateful for the continued support of Bob Martin. The donation of wormers as well as the money raised from Bob Martin’s Vetcare customers rounding up the cost of their purchases, will make a real difference to our animals.”
Savi Madan, Managing Director at Bob Martin commented: “We’re proud to be supporting Battersea again in 2016, and particularly to be able to support the charity’s fundraising appeal for the new Veterinary Hospital. We greatly believe in the charity’s mission to re-home cats and dogs and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to extend the level of support which we provide for the home as they unveil new and improved facilities for the animals in their care.”
Claire Sullivan, Head of Ecommerce at Bob Martin Vetcare added: “We know how passionate our customers are about their pets, so we hope that the ease with which they’re able to donate on Vetcare will raise plenty of money for the new hospital.”
