TrustedHousesitters is shining a spotlight on rehoming and generating much needed funds through its website, which helps pet owners find caring sitters who offer free, in-home pet care.
TrustedHousesitters launched in 2010 with a simple mission: to keep pets happy and safe in their own homes. Since then, it has quickly grown into a global community of pet lovers, who help each other travel and keep pets happy at home.
Every day, it connects thousands of home and pet owners with care-orientated sitters who will look after their home and pets for free, in exchange for a place to stay.
The world’s largest house and pet sitting business will donate £1 to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for every UK membership sold and their pet-loving members will be able to make further donations at the checkout through the TrustedHousesitters website.
Our partnership with TrustedHousesitters reflects our commitment to ensure that every dog and cat that comes into the Home receives the care and attention it needs, and is treated with compassion and dignity.
Andy Peck, founder and CEO of TrustedHousesitters said: “Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a charity we have always admired because we see the results of the incredible work they do in the thousands of rescue pets on our site who have been given a second chance. Many rescue animals have been through a very difficult time and it’s important for them to have stability. This is why it’s beneficial for them to be cared for in their homes by loving pet sitters.”
