Vitality London 10,000 FAQs

Find the answers to any questions you may have about the Vitality London 10,000 marathon.

When will I receive my race pack (e.g. Running number, race guide, timing chip etc)?

Your race pack will be sent to you by the event organiser, not Battersea. Please check the organiser’s website for full details.

I want to run for Battersea, but don’t want to commit to a minimum fundraising amount, what should I do?

You’ll need to book a place through the event organiser. Once you have completed this, complete an Own Place Registration.

But what if the ballot has ended or the event has sold out?

Battersea may still have charity places available.

What happens if I don’t reach my target?

We know that committing to raise a specific amount can seem a bit daunting which is why we’re here to help every step of the way. If you have a place with us and are struggling with your fundraising then please do get in touch. We have lots of experience with fundraising, and can give you some great advice, tips and fundraising materials to help you smash your target.

Where can I get a sponsorship form?

You should’ve received one in your fundraising pack we sent by email. If you need more, please email us at events@battersea.org.uk and we will send one over to you.

My t-shirt / vest is the wrong size – how can I change it?

You can contact us on events@battersea.org.uk and we will get one out to you ASAP!

When does my money need to be in by?

Any money that you’ve raised on Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving will come through to us automatically. You’ll just need to make sure that you close your fundraising page once you’ve received your final donation.

If you’ve been raising money with a paper sponsorship form then we ask that you return this money to us as soon as possible, we ask our supporters to send in their sponsorship by four weeks after the date of the Event. If you are unsure how to do this, please contact us on events@battersea.org.uk and we can let you know the best way to do this.

Why do I have to commit to a minimum fundraising amount – surely any money I raise should be enough?

Each charity place at an event represents an important and valuable source of fundraising for us. As we have made an investment to be able to offer places at events, we therefore ask each applicant to pledge to raise a minimum level of sponsorship if they subsequently take part in an event.

I’ve already got a place for the event, how do I request a fundraising pack?

That’s fantastic, complete an Own Place registration and we will provide you with all necessary materials.
