What is the Muddy Dog Challenge?

The Muddy Dog Challenge is the UK's first obstacle course where runners can compete in 2.5km and 5km obstacle runs with their dog.  We had great success in 2017 and are now bringing Muddy Dog to more and more people.

In 2018 there will be nine Muddy Dog Challenges happening across Windsor, Nottingham, Manchester, Peterborough, Cardiff and Tunbridge Wells.

You can find out more about the events on our Muddy Dog Challenge site.

We can't make Muddy Dog happen without the support of volunteers on the day to help with a whole range of activities, so we're looking for as many volunteers as possible to come and help us out as we put on these fabulous events to raise vital funds for Battersea dogs and cats. In return you'll get a great day out, meet some hugely excited dogs and their owners, and maybe even get a bit muddy yourself!

What would I be doing?

As a volunteer you could be doing any number of things from registering people on the day, helping out at the obstacles as guides and dog chaperones to cheering all our runners on as loudly as you possibly can. It's great fun!

So how do I get involved?

If volunteering at a Muddy Dog Challenge is something you'd like to be involved in, please fill in our online application form to register your interest.

You don't even need to have volunteered for Battersea before, although anyone volunteering does need to be over 18 years old.
