Biography

Crunchie was brought to Battersea as a stray, it is unknown how long he had been fending for himself without a roof over his head. Like many cats living on the streets without a home to call their own Crunchie was timid and not very trusting when he first arrived. Crunchie has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. (please follow link for more details about virus: http://www.icatcare.org/advice/cat-health/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv ) Crunchie will now need to be kept as an indoor cat but he has obviously lived an active outdoor life previously, due to this he will need access to an enclosed and secure outside space, e.g.balcony, roof terrace, secure run or similar. Crunchie is a sensitive boy, but he is friendly and he enjoys gentle stroking, grooming and the occasional game with cat nip, he will be a loving and interactive addition once settled. Crunchie prefers to come to you for a fuss, and he enjoys a tasty treat such as tuna. He is not keen on being carried about or over handled so new owners must respect this. Crunchie is a lovely boy with lots to offer, he just needs a quieter home to spend the rest of his days in peace and happiness. *Any new owner will need to speak to a Battersea vet about FIV prior to taking this lovely lad home*
