Belle

Belle

I have just looked at the website and would like to add our happy ending and say a huge thank you to Battersea.

When we adopted Belle we were told that she'd been found in an abandoned washing machine in a pretty rough state. Despite seeing lots of adorable cats in Battersea, we knew that Belle was the one, even if she didn't seem too bothered about us at first! We brought her back home with us where she spent the first few days hiding behind the sofa, too scared to even walk to her food.

With lots of treats and stroking, Belle soon began to trust us and pretty quickly ruled the roost. She is now a very content cat who loves lots of cuddles, sleeping on our bed (and us!) instead of hers, and trying to walk on my laptop whilst I type. The stray in her comes to the fore when she and the neighbouring cats battle it out for territory in the garden, but we're hoping she will make friends with them one day. For now she has made new virtual friends via her Facebook page!Thank you so much Battersea for bringing a beautiful cat our way.
