Max
I adopted Max from you 17 years ago. I instantly liked his spirit, and he came with advice from one of Battersea's behaviourists. As a human psychotherapist myself I was hooked.
I followed this and other advice and three weeks later I had a very different dog; the best dog I have ever had. Max is now 19 years old and blind but aside from this healthy.
He only wants to go for one walk a day though so it's lucky we have a garden. Basically, he eats, sleeps, and cuddles, but I know he's happy. And despite his great age, my two cats, and my other younger dog still defer to him. He has also travelled the world. He now lives in Spain. I happened to come across your web site today so I thought I'd send you this news from an old Battersea boy.
