More about ARES

Meet amazing Archie. With his striking features and endearing personality, he makes a delightful addition to any loving home.

Although he can be a little shy at first and may take some time to settle and make friends, once he has built up the courage, Archie blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion bringing joy wherever he goes.

This charming and playful boy has been in search for his forever home since January and just seems to have no luck in finding his match. He even likes to play fetch!

Archie doesn't let this get him down though and despite many cats having come and gone during his time here, he continues to remain hopeful holding onto his dream of being adopted.

If you can find it in your heart to offer our lovely Archie a home with a private garden, you’ll be rewarded with plenty of cuddly lap sessions!

Prospective new owners will need to speak to a Battersea Vet prior to rehoming due to a low-grade heart murmur.

Archie is at a foster home so prospective owners would be able to meet him there rather than at our Battersea centre.

He is suitable to live with children around the age of 10 years old and above. Archie is also looking for a home who can provide a dedicated settling room as he can take a while to come out of hiding. He will need 2 permanent litter trays in his new home.

If you are interested in giving Archie the loving home he deserves, please contact Battersea London - cat.rehoming@battersea.org.uk or 020 7627 9279.

Please ensure you have registered online and completed the application form to rehome a cat prior to getting in touch.

Our maximum reservation period is 2 days once a cat is medically cleared to go home, so please contact us when you are imminently available to rehome a cat.
