Rehoming information
We can’t guarantee that any animal shown on our website will be suitable for you or still available when you visit.
Animals have different needs, and we can only match them to new homes once you’ve completed our registration process. We can’t reserve animals before registration.
You must be 18 or over to rehome a dog or cat. Some guarding breeds require you to be 21 or over.
Animals may be rehomed quickly, so some shown online may already have found homes.
We assess every animal’s health and behaviour while they’re with us. Behaviour can change once they settle into a new home. We can’t accept responsibility for an animal’s temperament after rehoming, yet our team is here to support you with advice. Contact rehoming@battersea.org.uk for support.
