More about ARNIE

Arnie is a fun loving, intelligent and lively Pug cross. He is currently based at our Old Windsor site.

We believe Arnie to be a Pug cross Terrier as he shows lots of Terrier traits. He is an active boy; he is looking for experienced new owners who can continue his ongoing training in his new home.

Arnie has shown to be stressed in busier areas and can be vocal at times. We feel it is best for him to live in a quieter location to help him settle into his new environment. Arnie loves to burn off steam in our secure paddocks, this helps him destress and get all his energy out so a private and secure garden will be needed.

He is a very clever boy and picks up training quickly, he previously rang a bell when he needed to toilet. Arnie will need ongoing training to continue his socialisation around other dogs. Arnie loves people and sometimes gets a bit too excited - we're helping him to know that keeping all 4 feet on the floor gets him attention.

Arnie has been working on his dog socialisation as he can be vocal towards them, this is more from frustration and stress. He has ongoing training to help him greet, walk past other dogs and make friends. Due to his ongoing training, we feel it is best for Arnie to be the only dog in the household at this point in his life.

He loves his food and toys, this will make a great mix for his training, Arnie can sometimes enjoy playing with toys too much and he does have training in place to continue positive toy play.
