More about BRUCE

Meet our handsome Husky boy, Bruce! He came into us as a stray so we have no information on what he would be like in a home, however, he has been completely house trained onsite and is a very sociable and excitable boy.

During his stay with us he has proved himself to be a very loving boy and although very friendly, does show some sexual and rude behaviours around other dogs and therefore we are recommending that he must stay on lead at all times when out and about. New owners should be understanding of this and be prepared and confident to continue his training and socialisation around other dogs to help him practice and build on his manners and social skills.

Bruce is looking for new owners that ideally have experience with his breed or ones similar and be prepared to follow our advice regarding his dog socialisation going forwards. He will need a private garden of his own to allow him to have off lead time safely, but could live in just about any location. Older teens who are confident around larger bouncy dogs would be great companions for him, but he will need to be the only pet in the home. As he is a stray, we are unsure on how he will cope in a home environment, so new owners will ideally be around most of the time, at least to begin with, to help get him used to be left alone.
