More about BUMBLE

Bumble is a bright and bouncy bundle of potential. He is an exuberant young Crossbreed based at Battersea Old Windsor. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is full of life and energy, we believe he is a Husky mix, which means he is strong on lead, super smart and always ready for an adventure. He is looking for a very experienced home with active owners who can guide him through his adolescent years and enjoy plenty of long walks together.

Bumble will be a rewarding training project for the right home, he has a few areas that require training work such as some resource guarding around some food and toys, handling and meeting other dogs. He absolutely loves his toys, especially balls, and they are a great way to keep him entertained and help with his training. Sometimes he can love his toys a bit too much, so his new owners will need to manage this consistently at home.

Ideally Bumble should be the only dog in his new home as he can be a bit too much for some dogs and is still learning some manners around other dogs. However he has many dog friends at Old Windsor. He already knows several commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ and has been housetrained in kennels.

This clever boy is very intelligent and needs plenty of mental stimulation to keep his brain engaged. Without enough to do, he will find his own entertainment! Owners who can channel his energy into fun, structured activities will bring out the very best in him. Bumble doesn’t enjoy being left along for too long, so he’s looking for owners who can build up his time alone slowly.

Bumble is work in progress, but he promises to be an incredibly rewarding companion for the right home. We are sure with patience, consistent training and lots of love, Bumble will shine.
