More about BUTCH

Brilliant Butch is a lively and super affectionate retired racing Greyhound, who does not act his age at all! Butch was described by his previous racing kennels as "a happy go lucky boy who is easy to please" which has certainly rung true during his time with us - give him a cuddle and a bowl of food and he is happy as a clam!

Butch walks really well on lead and loves human company. He settles very well in our offices while we work and will wander over and lean into you for a fuss when he wants a bit of love. Butch has shown to be a friendly and steady boy with other, even smaller dogs, and is able to be off lead around them and will not need to be muzzled on his walks.

This lovely boy will need caring new owners who can help him settle into home life, as he has previously only lived in kennels due to his previous life as a racing dog. We have seen that Butch absolutely loves to lounge on big comfy beds and duvets, so it's high time he experienced being a loved family member who can enjoy the comforts of a home. Butch will need some house training and exposure to a normal household routine and his new owners will need to be able to be home with him for most of the time initially, in order to build up the time he is left alone slowly and positively.

Butch really is a wonderful lad and will make a lovely companion for almost any home, even with those who may not have much previous experience with dogs.
