Meet the lovely Casanova

He came to Battersea from another rescue and been on foster for a short time but had to come back due to chasing cats.

In the limited history we do have on Casanova he has shown to be a loving affectionate soul with his known people, we do not have much information on his behaviour around children and other dogs. He did have one occasion where when an overly enthusiastic dog was trying to play with him he told them off but he was controlled in doing this and recovered from it quickly. Casanova will need some ongoing socialising & recall work around dogs as currently he can be worried but has also displayed some sexual behaviours with them & will need some guidance & confidence building in this area.

Since coming to Battersea, Casanova has shown to be the sweetest most affectionate boy but does have a sensitive more worried side to him and has found kennel life a little stressful. He has been friendly with everyone he's met onsite however he did have one occasion where he was worried by a new person but did warm up quickly.

Casanova's new owners should have some experience of his breed mix and are willing to put in some training around confidence building and dog socialisation. He has picked up all training onsite quickly and is very smart!

Casanova may come across as a bit shy and reserved at first but he will warm up to you quickly and before you know it steal a place in your heart.
