More about CASPER (& BEAU)

Casper and Beau are a delightful pair of bonded Greyhounds at Battersea Old Windsor who are looking for a calm home where they can settle in at their own pace.

Casper and Beau are both 4 years old, Casper being the brindle male dog and Beau is the black female Greyhound.

Beau is a the more confident on the pair and likes to greet people, zoom around and play with toys. Casper can look to Beau for reassurance as he is an anxious dog and can easily be worried by new people and busy environments. He is starting to play with toys when he is around people he knows which is a joy to watch.

Casper and Beau are currently spending some time in a temporary foster home and are getting used to the sights and sounds of home life. They are both house trained, travel well in the car and sleep through the night together in the kitchen. They love to zoom around the garden together and Beau loves to have fuss from her foster carers. Casper was more anxious when he first arrived but is growing in confidence. They have even enjoyed paddling in the river together on a warm day and Casper was quite brave about taking the plunge. They are very bonded together but each have their own unique, wonderful characters and are very responsive to their foster carers.

Casper and Beau have been friendly with other dogs, especially other Sighthounds, but as they are a bonded pair they are looking to be the only dogs in their new home.

Casper and Beau are looking for kind and patient owners who have researched into the Greyhound breed. If you are interested in rehoming them please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk or call 01784 494 443.
