More about CHUCK

Chuck is our very sweet little Yorkshire Terrier X Shih Tzu.
He is happy to meet every person and dog he comes across.

During his stay with us he has been friendly, House Trained and respectful of other dogs.
He has also spent some time in a foster home to give him a little break from kennels.

Chuck has had to have a lot of medical treatment during his stay at Battersea, tolerating ear drops and cleans and eye drops. New Owners need to be understanding with his handling, be able to read his body language when he shows that he is uncomfortable.

Due to Chuck's ongoing medical issues, any potential new owner will need to have a chat with our Battersea vet.

Chuck has shown some resource guarding behaviour in his foster home and in his history. His new owners will need to have experience of managing this behaviour and who are happy to follow all of our advice regarding managing this. We have put a little training plan in place for him and it is working well.

This older lad is looking for a quieter home with patient and sympathetic owners. In the right home with his behaviours managed sensibly he will make a nice little companion.
Chuck would benefit from a private garden, with his new home having access to nice walking routes. He would also like a couple of little doggy pals that are small and friendly like he is.
