More about DAISY
Daisy is a jolly dog with a quirky personality - she can be very affectionate on her terms but can also sometimes be quite stubborn and sassy about certain situations. She’s very endearing and has lots of character; for a home that fits with her needs she'll be lots of fun and brilliant company.
Daisy finds some aspects of hands-on contact quite challenging and has air-snapped at people, so it's important that her owners go slowly and give her the support she needs. She does however love a gentle fuss and will sit next to people and really enjoys this engagement. Daisy knows a lovely 'sit', 'down' and even a 'beg', sometimes her front legs waggle around when she's particularly excited about a treat.
Daisy much prefers her own space and does not always want to greet other dogs. She does not look for interaction and is happy to potter around on interesting sniff walks and wouldn't enjoy being in places where there are lots of dogs running around.
In her last home, Daisy was housetrained and would take her toys to people to ask for a game. She is quite sound sensitive and can bark when she hears noises in the home, so would suit living in a quieter area. Daisy is a gentle dog who is looking for a calm, settled home with experienced owners who are willing to give her the space she needs, as well as understand her worries around some handling and going to the vets.
