Delightful Delilah is our super friendly and affectionate girl, who is known to walk beautifully on the lead and likes to have a chat with her handlers!

We have seen that both in her previous home and during her stay with us at Battersea that Delilah can be uncomfortable around dogs, her go to behaviour is to stay away and if given the opportunity she doesn't really want to interact. We have seen that when given gradual exposure to dogs, she is able to build relationships with them and can go on lovely walks with them,.

As we have seen that she generally is happy to do her own thing we have supported her with this via muzzle training and she now is happy to walk on lead and muzzled around dogs. Delilah has demonstrated that she is very intelligent quickly following the training we have put in place and is showing to be more comfortable around dogs, our team will demonstrate this training so it can be continued in her new home

Delilah would benefit from living with new owners who have some experience of dogs of her breed or similar, or those who have needed management and training with their sociability around other dogs. She will need to be the only pet in her new home, but could live with sensible older teens. She is looking for a quiet lifestyle whereby she isn't left alone for long periods of time, especially to begin with and in a location away from any high dog populations. Due to having to stay on lead and muzzled when out on her walks, Delilah will need a secure garden of her own for off lead zoomie time!
