More about FREYA

Freya is a delightful Greyhound; she loves her food and affection from her favourite people. She is located at our Old Windsor centre, if you are interested in rehoming her, please email bow.rehomers@battersea.org.uk.

Freya has lots of love to give and likes to demonstrate the famous Greyhound lean when having a fuss. She has been friendly with everyone she has met and has a calm and loving personality. We feel Freya would be able to live with older children.

She does have a worried side when walking in new areas, Freya has been known to seek reassurance from her handlers when she is unsure. She is looking for her new home to be in a quieter location where she can build her confidence.

She will need a private and secure garden to help her adjust to her new environment and gain confidence. This will also come in handy for Freya with housetraining and she will be able to stretch her legs and have room for zooming around in the lovable Greyhound fashion.

As an ex-racer Freya has not lived in a home environment before and will need guidance and training to help her navigate her new home and help her settle in. Her love for food will be a great tool continue her training and create positive associations to unknown experiences.

She has been social around other dogs during her time here and we feel she may be able to live with a similar sized dog that is happy to offer play and show Freya the way in her new home.
