Say hello to our gorgeous Gimli

Gimli came to Battersea as a stray, so sadly we have no information for the first few years of his life.

Since coming to Battersea, Gimli has shown to be the sweetest soul, and does have a sensitive side to him. He has found kennel life a little stressful whilst with us. Gimli was very shy when he first arrived with us, and it took a little while to gain his trust and build his confidence. Since settling he's been a friendly boy with everyone he's met onsite, and once he knows you he's a wiggly, excitable boy that enjoys a fuss!

He enjoys making dog friends, and has been a friendly and playful boy onsite. As a stray with limited information, we feel Gimli should be the only dog in the household whilst new owners continue his socialisation out and about.

Gimli will need owners experienced with the breed and are willing to put in some training around continuing to build his confidence. Gimli has picked up all training here onsite quickly and is a smart boy!

He's an introverted extrovert, shy and reserved at first it takes a minute to warm up to you but once you have bonded with him he will be the most loyal companion you could ask for. He'll also have you laughing along the way with him as he goes about his clownish antics because he never wants the fun to end.
